About
Hi, I’m Sarah! I grew up in Mobile, Alabama, and eventually made my way to Auburn University, where I earned my degree in Graphic Design (and proudly picked up the habit of shouting War Eagle to all fellow Auburn fans).
My career began at Red Square Agency, a fast-paced advertising firm that felt a little like Mad Men—minus the office smoke. I worked on campaigns and promotions for casinos, which was both thrilling and eye-opening. It was a crash course in the Adobe programs and the high-energy world of advertising and it shaped me into the designer I am today.
From there, I spent eight years as Creative Director at JJPR Agency, building brands and creating campaigns for clients ranging from local startups to international businesses. It was a chance to lead, to think big, and to explore how design could not only make things look good but also move the needle for real people and businesses.
These days, I’m part of the Marketing and Tradeshows team at Lockheed Martin. My work ranges from large-scale event graphics to executive-level presentations, digital campaigns, and employee-facing initiatives. If it tells a story visually, there’s a good chance I’ve designed it. What I love most about this role is blending strategy with creativity—making sure every design not only looks beautiful but also communicates with clarity and purpose.
I don’t just make things look pretty. I love strategically thinking through the why of a project: Who are we communicating with? What story are we telling? How can we turn the ordinary into something memorable? For me, design is problem-solving wrapped in creativity.
My design philosophy leans toward the timeless. I believe great branding should outlast trends and fads, telling a story that feels just as authentic tomorrow as it does today. I’m also an easy-going, team-focused collaborator who thrives in big-picture brainstorming and strategy sessions. And while I love diving deep into my own projects, I also enjoy teaching and mentoring other designers, encouraging them to try new techniques and grow in their craft.
Right now, I’m exploring the intersection of creativity and technology, experimenting with AI tools—everything from image generation prompts to Adobe’s latest features. It feels a lot like opening a brand-new sketchbook, you never know what’s going to come out, but the possibilities are exciting.
Outside of work, I’m a full believer that the things you love inspire the things you create. For me, that means cozy nights with Gilmore Girls, planning Disney adventures and indulging in chips and queso or Jeni’s ice cream. I also geek out over color psychology and could happily spend hours talking about why certain shades dominate branding.
At the end of the day, I’m a designer, a storyteller, and a color enthusiast who believes design should make life clearer, more meaningful, and maybe even a little more fun.
